DEEP FRIED OVAL YUBA IN VEGETARIAN SOUP - SERVES THREE PEOPLE



Traditional preparation and serving method:

  1. Defrost the yuba and the soup.
  2. Heat up in a pot. Turn off when it reaches boiling point. Place a small amount of grated ginger on top and serve in a deep bowl.

Hint:

For a challenging arrangement add a little bit of arrowroot powder to the soup. This addition of starch will result in the oval yuba floating like a lotus in the middle of the soup.
